East River Park Preservation Stance

New Yorkers and beyond:

Join us this Tuesday to speak out against the Mayor's plan and for those trees. They filter out the pollution and increase the oxygen levels in the air we breathe, and they are our natural flood barrier. Show up and call Speaker Johnson and tell him to immediately schedule an oversight hearing to review the Mayor’s ESCR plan.

Asking: “Corey, lead the way to climate justice for East River Park!”

Who: East River Park Community Members

When: Tuesday 9/28 at 7 am (before work or school)

Where: City Hall Park, across from 1 Center Street, Manhattan (4 train to Brooklyn Bridge)

What: to demand that City Council Speaker Corey Johnson hold an immediate Oversight Hearing to preserve our endangered beloved East River Park.

Also TO DO: Contact Speaker Johnson at 212-564-7757 or 212-788-7210, speakerjohnson@council.nyc.gov, Social Media: @NYCSpeakerCoJo
